The Brief

The job of an airline is to promote and provide flights — both into and out of the country. Things were, however, a little tricky in 2015 as Scoot wasn’t allowed to promote flights out of Singapore. The nation wanted her people to celebrate her 50th birthday right here in the little red dot. How now brown cow?

Concept

We challenged Singaporeans to be patriotic and garang for Singapore, and look ahead to the nation’s future for the month of August. We went full-on garang on social, on the ground, in the air and everywhere. The campaign generated a 34.2% lift in revenue for regular-priced airfares and brought in more than 8 million dollars in revenue. Garang not?
